Delete your PL8 Friends account

You do not need PL8 installed to request deletion of a Friends account.

In the app

Open Friends and choose Delete account. If the server deletion fails, PL8 keeps your session and displays the failure so you can try again.

Without the app

Email support@burlis.de from the address used for Friends and put “PL8 account deletion” in the subject. You may instead write to:

Include the Friends email address and display name if known. Do not send a password or one-time code. We request only the information reasonably needed to verify that the account is yours and respond without undue delay, normally within one month.

Server data deleted

Deletion removes:

• account, email address and display name;
• Terms acceptance and Privacy-notice evidence;
• active sessions and unused one-time codes;
• invitations, friendships and blocks;
• current and previous-week leaderboard totals; and
• reports filed by the deleted account.

A report another user filed can retain its fixed reason and filing and handling times, but deletion removes the reported account identifier and display-name snapshot from it. Unhandled reports are deleted after 90 days and handled reports 12 months after handling.

Data not deleted by this request

The local workout, manual food, body-weight, water and Health-derived database stays on the device because it was never in the Friends account. Delete local entries in PL8 or remove the app. A platform backup or record already written to Apple Health or Health Connect must be managed through the applicable device, Apple or Google service.

This release has no PL8 subscription to cancel. Store purchases outside this release remain governed by the store account through which they were made.
